filter problem kmail5 in bullseye

Greetings All;

I am in process of setting up the folders and associated filters in this new 
kmail, and am suddenly getting what appear to be retrieval errors after the 
header is read. 2 to 5 popups in the upper fight corner advising of an error
reading the msg. Hitting a "v" to look at it raw, there is no text, but the 
html tab shows lots of markup but again no real text in the html tab.

And of coarse nothing happens for a ctl+j

How do I proceed?
