Kcalendar and mail alert

Hello,
when I set up a new appointment in my calendar, I would like to have an alert 
by email. I see that Kcalendar doesn't allow to do this, but only a simple 
alert.

I remember that it was possible to add an alert by email.

Could you tell me anything?
