Indeed. And simulation that with the notification subsystem in the future... I 
simply can not imagine how to get something even remotely similar to korgac's 
l&f from there.

Well, you need a running akonadi server, not a running korganizer. Starting 
korganizer kicks up akonadi as a side effect btw.
