no notification/reminder from korganizer/kontact

Hello,

I use KDE Korganizer 22.08.3 (on Debian stable). Since a while (few month?) I don't get reminders for any events. It doesn't matter if I create an event in my personal calandar or if I create/use it in caldav.
Any help or hints are very welcome.
