I was contacted by a chap called Scott Allen who is trying to organise 
something to help market open source software and services.

I'm doing a free seminar and facilitated discussion next Tuesday on "The 
Role of Product Marketing in an Open Source World" that I thought you might 
be interested in attending. I'm giving it in conjunction with Software 
Product Marketing eGroup, an all-volunteer job board and support group for 
out-of-work software product marketing, product management, and business

collective commons for open source creators, publishers, practitioners, and 
advocates to co-develop and share product marketing tools - ROI analysis, 
case studies, competitive intelligence and analysis, business-oriented 
demos, etc. The purpose is to help open source products compete against the 
multi-million-dollar marketing budgets of the major software vendors. I 
hope you'll take a look at the prospectus and then do one or more of the 
following:

Give me a really great quote in support of it that I can use in the launch 
announcement and other promotional materials.
