It doesn't support the extended character set directly, yet. What you can do, however, is to preprocess the message to convert the extended charset into the standard charset which should be an easy thing to do. You can find a translation table here, for example: http://www.barcode24.com/Code39.php You're also welcome to help extend the Code39 functionality to directly support the extended character set. I'd be glad to accept a patch. The class that need to be changed is Code39LogicImpl.java.
