More work on Version.
I have decided to use JDK 1.5 for this.  Since I am playing I might as 
well have fun 8-)
It will be interesting to see what I have to do to get this to run on 
JDK 1.4 clients.


The test all compile, but many still fail. 
Feel free to jump in if you are interested.
