Hi all, I'm writing a custom renderer that will take a parameter signifying that all points/bars after a certain number will be drawn in a different color. (this is to get a graph that distinguishes between past values and future values.) The current AxisValueRenderEvent.java code (v1.1 2003/05/17 16:56:35) only gives me the following methods getTotalItemAxisArea getValueX, getValueY These are not enough to enable me to redraw a bar in a different color or line point in a different shape etc. So the question is to add extra functionality will I have to modify the AxisValueRenderEvent class as well as the various axisChart classes?? Or have I missed something? Thanks, Chris Incidentally you may recall we developed a 3D StackedBar chart and enabled 45 degree rotated axis labels for jCharts a little while back, now the smoke has cleared a bit, I'll be doing some CVS diffs and create a report of suggested changes for the major developers to determine where and when these mods should be placed. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
