Improving 3D pie charts

Hi there,
I am trying to create a 3D pie chart 
I was wondering if I could 
1. reduce the amount of space in and around the actual pie chart , there
Seems to be a lot of space around the pie chart itself.

2. Also sometimes the pie chart gets saved as a bmp only , any ideas why
that is ...
