Hi, We are noticing a significant performance hit (charts taking seconds to render as opposed to 100-200 ms) when running jcharts under Linux (Fedora Core 3, 2.6 kernel, JDK1.4.2, Tomcat 5.0) compared to our development boxes running Windows XP SP2. The linux box and windows machines are of comparable hardware spec. Is there anything we can do to improve this? The Linux machine is not running X, if that is of any importance?
