+
Building Krysalis Menu

+

+ This build has two prerequisites:
+

+

+
Tapestry 3.0.2

+
Forrest 0.6

+

+

+ You will need to install these and then copy .build.properties.sample
+ to .build.properties and modify the contents to point to these installations.
+

+

+ Installing forrest is not an obvious process. The trick is to:
+

+

+
extract the archive

+
run build.bat

+
define FORREST_HOME environment variable to point to {forrest.install.dir}/src/core

+
add {forrest.install.dir}/src/core/bin to the path

+

+

+ Next just run ant in the root of the distribution and the system will be compiled. The
+ build system outputs three things of note.
+

+

+
krysalis-menu.jar in the component directory. This is the menu library file you should add to your
+ application.

+
example.war in the example directory. This is a small example web application demonstrating the
+ functionality of krysalis-menu

+
The documentation in forrestdocs/build/site

+
