IMHO AspectJ is still for many respects a nice concept with not yet a 
really viable programming model. I tend to like aspects in code instead 
of with precompilation.

Tha said, as long as AspectJ is not a requirement, but just an extra 
feature, exactly as you suggest, I'd be totally positive WRT this piece 
of code :-)
