Agreed.  Upon more reading, Gump seems completely useless for my non-CVS
work environment.

Hmmm... Well, seems like you do need to decide what type of user you are
targeting: Gump, or the rest of the Java world. ;->

Yes.  I have used ANT for years now, and it's time for something that needs
a little less 'cut-and-paste' development.
