Thanks Nick for your response.

I want my process to get the source from CVS so that it is one less manual 
intervention. Can't I use Centipede with Gump (Centipede doing the build and 
Gump for getting the source from CVS)?

Is there any other way to get the source from CVS even for a single project 
(without using workspace)?

Gump suggested using the workspace for getting the code from CVS repository. 
That is why I added it and tried.
