Ok, now that we've cleared the fact that you're talking about Krysalis
Barcode: I'm sure you mean Saxon, not Saxcon. Currently, Krysalis
Barcode only has an XSLT extension for Apache Xalan. But doing the same
for Saxon should be a piece of cake. You could have a look at
org.krysalis.barcode.xalan.BarcodeExt which represents the extension for
Xalan. Taking that one as a template you could try to write an extension
for Saxon. If you don't feel up to the task, you can, of course, ask me
to do it for you, but I won't be able to do it this week as it's already
pretty full. If you do it, I would be grateful if you donated the
extension so I can make it part or Krysalis Barcode.

If you're producing XSL-FO and are working with Apache FOP you could
also try the new extension that can be found in the latest sources from
CVS. This would remove the necessity to work with an XSLT extension.

I hope this helps.
