I think that is a bit too complex for me. I am into java for only a few weeks now and to be honest, I hate PCL, it is much too complicated. At the mome! nt I use the PS-Output of FOP and print it directly (send the .ps file to the printer). This limits the variety of printers, but this thing is going to be integrated in a software that will run with Linux/Unix and then Ghostscript would be an option. But this will take some time...
