When working with Open Source projects written in Java you don't get around installing Apache Ant as it's the number one build tool for Java. Ant can be found and downloaded at [1]. Please install it as per instructions at [2]. Important are the ANT_HOME environment variable and the addition of the Ant directory to the PATH env. variable so ant.bat can be found from everywhere on the system. [1] http://ant.apache.org/ [2] http://ant.apache.org/manual/install.html#installing When you've got Ant installed, "Building Barcode" means going to Barcode's root directory (where build.xml is located) and calling ant.bat on the command-line. Ant will then read build.xml which contains the instructions to build Barcode. > I dont know Java that much, so I would be gratefull for some help (or an > link to some help ( I checked the search funktions if this mailing list, but > was beaten by the ammount of hits generatet)).
