Hmm. If I don't get it wrong then:

<module-width> = 1 / dpi

For 300dpi this would be "0.0033333333333in"

The module width should then be exactly one pixel. But you will have to
make sure you specify the quiet zone in "mw" units (module width units),
ex. "10mw". If you use a symbology with a wide-factor parameter (ex.
Codabar) you need to use integer values. And you will have to disable
anti-aliasing for contrast.

Disclaimer: The above is fully untested and rounding could mess up the
numbers.
