Re: barcode with fop in Postscript mode- the human-readable part is incorrect

Hi Helmut,

you're right. FOP 0.20.5 shows a problem with the human-readable part of
the barcode using the PostScript renderer and the SVG-generating
Xalan-Extension. It's a problem with missing painting functions in the
SVG part of FOP's PostScript output.

I've got a special, private FOP build that has this problem fixed. I am
a FOP committer but currently can't upload this changes since the team
as a whole decided to freeze the particular branch that FOP 0.20.5 came
from. If you're really desperate for the PS output to work I can send
you my special FOP sources. I've done a few other modifications to it
described here:

Basically these additional modifications allow Barcode4J to create
barcodes in EPS format and to embed them directly in the PostScript
output which is considerably faster than taking the way over SVG as an
intermediate format. But as indicated on the page above, I can send you
these things but I won't provide support mostly because of lack of time.
