INstalling Barcode4j

Hi,

Iam new to this so forgive me to ask this simple questions...
1. I would like to know how to install Barcode4J, i.e. where should i put the
jar    files in the packages. is it inside the <tomcat folder>/WEB-INF/?
2. Can I know where I can find the sample codes of using this jar file?
3. This library can be used to read and create barcode right?
