On Linux you can use RUN to execute a shell mailprogramm(we at Ventas use mail). If you want it use native in a4gl i think you have to look for external c-librarys like http://www.stafford.uklinux.net/libesmtp/index.html and compile this into your aubit4gl. But how this works i dont know, i think mike can told more about this.
