PDFlib was compiled from source suing the latest available PDFlib-Lite-7.0.5 pdflib was compiled with --prefix=/usr/local and aubit with --with-pdf=/usr/local/bin [aubit@informix1 plugins-1.2_28]$ ls -l *EXREPORT* -rwxrwxr-x 1 aubit aubit 8242 Mar 4 08:16 libEXREPORT_NOPDF.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 aubit aubit 18 Mar 3 22:44 libEXREPORT_pdf.so -> libEXREPORT_PDF.so -rwxrwxr-x 1 aubit aubit 143106 Mar 4 08:16 libEXREPORT_PDF.so [aubit@informix1 plugins-1.2_28]$ [aubit@informix1 plugins-1.2_28]$ aubit-config -verbose EXREPORT '' Set from : Not set [aubit@informix1 plugins-1.2_28]$ [aubit@informix1 test]$ env|grep -i pdf A4GL_PDFTYPE=PDF [aubit@informix1 ~]$ grep -i pdf .aubit4gl/aubitrc #Options: PDF, (NOPDF) A4GL_PDFTYPE=NOPDF A4GL_PDFTYPE_DETECTED="NOPDF" WARN_LD_LIBRARY_REASON=" PDF IESQLC Informix-ESQL" By the error I guess its related to positioning elements on the report. I can take an existing 4gl report and convert to PDF without problems. The 4gl report is pretty much some PRINTs with a couple formating options like page length and margins. If I try running the sample (pdf_report.4gl) that uses more complex formatting I get the error [aubit@informix1 test]$ ./pdf_report.4ae START fatal exception: [1109] PDF_set_text_pos: Floating point parameter 'x' has bad value 1.8e+18 (maximum 1e+18) [aubit@informix1 test]$ Did some more testing and managed to identify the problem is in this section format first page header print column 2.5 inches; print image mv_logo AS JPEG SCALED BY 0.25 skip to 3 inches; set font size 16 print column 2 inches,"Table Dump First Page" Using any non integer value for the position causes the error. It works using "print column 2 inches;" and "print column 3 inches;" but will fail using "print column 2.5 inches;" or even "print column 2.0 inches;" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ Aubit4gl-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/aubit4gl-discuss
