Question about VDC and proxy.

I've been playing with proxy trying to get it to work.  When VDC tries
to connect nothing happens.  I had seen another post about this but
did not see a solution posted.

Here is my startup file:

/opt/aubit4gl/aubit4glsrc/lib/libui/ui_xml/proxy -start

I have a user in the password file and it looks like proxy encrypted
the password properly.

The log when VDC tries to connect:

The app named mainwindow.4ge is in the Apps directory and works fine
when started as:

export A4GL_UI=XML
export AFGLSERVER=192.168.1.14
./mainwindow.4ge

I REALLY want to start using VDC even though the learning curve is
giving me a headache :)
