Hello Luis, we developed in the last two years a solution in order to create reports and documents in Open Document Format (Open and Libre Office) and included some of the needed functionality in the VDC (the other part is 4gl as closed code). We can also convert this files in Microsoft format like doc and xls. The developing state allows us to use it already in customer projects, but it is still under improvement. At the moment the 4gl part is not integrated in the Open Source Project and we use it in payed projects only. If someone of the a4gl world would like to help to improve it, then we can imagine to share this with him. We are also thinking in a new open source project for 2013 regarding 4gl code. The idea would be to develop general funcionality every software house has to solve otherwise by its own. If this project would gain enough interest then we can imagine to put our report generating functions in it. Please let us know if you - or somene else - is interested in such a project.
