The reported problem with datafields type MONEY and DECIMAL, which showed itself in some environments using A4GL_LEXTYPE=EC, has been fixed by Mike Aubury immediately. A new bugfixed release 1.2_34 is in the CVS already. Thanks for your great support! rdrache > On 12 July 2013 14:59 Mike Aubury wrote: > Yep - its a bug... > I'm committed the fix now. > Are you using a source or binary tarball ? >> >> Am 11.07.2013 12:18, schrieb Mike Aubury: >> >> Hi - I need a little more detail :) >> >> Is it possible to create a very simple test program I can try here ? >> Do you have any specific Locale or Lang settings that might be affecting >> it ? >> >> Does the form "edit" properly - ie. going into and out of the field >> still works - and displaying the variables value after the input works >> ? >> Is it just when it hits the DB theres an issue ? >> >> >> On 11 July 2013 10:11, rdrache wrote: >>> >>> Hello, >>> >>> we are converting our current Informix 4gl applications to Aubit 4gl. >>> Backend is IDS 11.5. >>> >>> Now we found a general problem with form fields for the datatype MONEY. >>> For example product prices are defined and stored in the backend as >>> "MONEY(8,2) NOT NULL". >>> Everything looks good until we update a field. >>> In the a4gl compiled form the correct input value is shown and also >>> visually >>> updated.
