Greetings to all valued members of AUBIT discussion list, After some testing / playing with sample-code and reading in the A4GL Manual. I came across 2 very interesting Instructions in AUBIT4GL which do not exist in Informix Standard 4GL: ON IDLE and ON INTERVAL. A taste of async input, important for (my) semi technical applications in A4GL..... A small program using this INSTRUCTIONS worked fine in AUBIT TUI but not in GUI-Mode. It does not work in HL_GTK, but if I am right, there is no further development. The VDC Client crashes when I am using one of this instructions, I assume there must be something implemented at the client side from VENTAS. I have also no knowledge about this functionality in the Aubit C# frontend. Is there any documentation out there, that describes the building of the C# frontend with .NET and or Mono? Which of the GUIs is proven for future use ?
