It is not in the plugins directory so it seems its not getting compiled. When I tried compiling unixODBC from source it had dependency problems with qt so I'm using the one from the RHEL repositories. Is there a specific binary/file I can run a find for to verify what would be the correct path on --with-unixodbc ? For example, odbcinst is in /usr/bin On Tue, Jan 28, 2014 at 11:28 AM, Mike Aubury <[email protected]> wrote: > Do you have a "libSQL_unixodbc.so" in the plugins directory ? > > (--with-unixodbc=/usr/bin looks wrong so it might not be detecting > unixodbc properly) > > > On 28 January 2014 15:26, Eddie <[email protected]> wrote: > >> >> >> >> adding --with-iodbc=no got it to compile but adbacces fails to open when >> using type=odbc >> >> >> ADBACCESS: Query-language Error: can't open DLL >> /home/aubit/aubit4gl/plugins-1 >> .2_28/libSQL_unixodbc.so - STOP >> Error msg: >> /home/aubit/aubit4gl/plugins-1.2_28/li >> bSQL_unixodbc.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or >> directory---- >> >> >> >> ./configure --prefix=/home/aubit/aubit4gl --with- >> informix=/home/informix --with-pgsql=no --with-pdf=/usr/local/bin >> --with-unixodb >> c=/usr/bin --with-iodbc=no >> >> Aubit 4gl compiler is working - compiler build was successfull. >> >> >> >> >> Im using unixODBC from yum repository so Im using /usr/bin for the path >> in the configure command >> >> Installed Packages >> unixODBC.i386 2.2.11-10.el5 installed >> unixODBC.x86_64 2.2.11-10.el5 installed >> unixODBC-devel.i386 2.2.11-10.el5 installed >> unixODBC-devel.x86_64 2.2.11-10.el5 installed >> unixODBC-libs.i386 2.2.11-10.el5 installed >> unixODBC-libs.x86_64 2.2.11-10.el5 installed >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> On Tue, Jan 28, 2014 at 10:59 AM, Mike Aubury <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> Did you rerun the ./configure ?
