arr_count() different behaviour i Aubit compared to Informix 4gl

We were having some strange problems with arr_count() in aubit. It appears that it does not keep track of which array is least accessed in the same ways as Informix 4gl does. We are having some nested input array statements. Rather hairy, actually. In some magical way Informix keeps track of arr_count() and refers to the correct array, while aubit does not. Admittably, it looks a bit scary in the code. Is this a known issue?
