Installing AUBIT binary on Mac OSX

I have zero experience with Informix or with AUBIT.

I am working through getting AUBIT installed on my MacBook and am
getting this error when running 'aubit configurator' or aubit
aubit-config'.


ERROR: no TARGET_OS STOP

Googling for TARGET_OS +AUBIT does not produce anything useful and
grep'ing for TARGET_OS inside the aubit4glbin directory tree shows
several references to TARGET_OS=darwin which is the closest thing to
osx I could find.

The only reference in the manual shows TARGET_OS=linux but does not
say where this env var goes.  The sample /etc/aubitrc file does not
mention TARGET_OS at all.

So where does the setting go and what should it be?

The documentation for the binary install implies that once can simply
set the necessary variables in ./etc/aubitrc and go from there but
evidently I am missing some steps.
