Make sure that all of your environment variables are set in the shell script. Cron will not have LIBPATH INFORMIXDIR FGLDIR DBPATH etc. Also check PATH. Send the output to a file so you can see any error messages. Brian Grellinger I.S. The same script contains the fglrun command and is executed by cron. The 4gl program is supposed to insert into table but nothing happens when cron executes the script. Thx for the tips.
