I tried to search the mailing list archive, but couldn't find anything similar; it could just be that I was using the wrong keywords. It would be great if this feature was added, but I suspect it wouldn't be soon enough for our usage. I'll contact 4JS locally to see if they can find it ion the wish list. I seem to remember it being added to the wish list for future Genero Development but it was added quite some time ago. Perhaps 4Js can comment on when this feature might be available ? Using an input array, I assume that I could detect the shift-click key and then fill in the additional selection field all the way back to the last selected record above or the top of the array, whichever comes first. This solution wouldn't quite work in the same way as using shift-click as it wouldn't work in the opposite direction unless I store the number of the last selected row - even then I am not sure we could completely match the MS Windows UI standard, but it would probably be usable. I don't suppose anyone has done this already. We would like to display a list of values so that the user can select a range of values using shift-click, or a multiple individual values using ctrl-click. It is obviously easy to this for a single value using arr_curr to return the position of one selected row, but how can we allow the user to select multiple rows? Any ideas?
