The relicense MAGIC could be caused by one of the following in my experience: New IP, New I-node of key informix files (possibly caused by a copy or restore, or a date change). The date change may be culprit in that when you reboot, the BIOS may have an incorrect date, and thus your UNIX clock is off. The files could be timestamped into the future, which would freak out the BDL License.
