RE: Installation of 4Js BDL compiler V3.53 on RedHat Enterprise Linux 3

Why is this an issue?  We have just installed 3.53 on ES 3.0 Update 1 and it seems to be working.  
 
In other words, why would we need to update the version?

provided that you install BDL Version 3.54 since this updated GLIBC's version of REd Hat Enterprise.
