When I tried FGLCC=gcc I still got errors.  It's ok with FGLCC=g++.

DB2DIR=$PATH_INSTALATION

FGLDBS=db28x

FGLCC=gcc

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$DB2DIR/lib

IBM DB2 Universal Database

1. The DB2DIR environment variable must define the DB2 software
installation path.

2. The PATH environment variable must define the access path to database
client programs.

3. On UNIX, the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable (or equivalent)
must define the access path to shared

objects.

4. The DB2 client library 'DB2DIR/lib/libdb2*' must be available.

5. The remote server node and the remote database must be declared
locally with the CATALOG db2 command.

6. Make some connection tests with the IBM db2 tool.


Creating an IBM DB2 DVM:

To create IBM DB2 DVMs, the DB2 Client Library is needed. The library is
named libdb2.so and is provided in

'$DB2DIR/lib'.

To create a DB2 specific DVM, use the -d option with an "db2" database
driver:

$ fglmkrun -o rundb2 -d db281

Runner successfully created.

Warning: Make sure the IBM DB2 environment is set (DB2DIR).

Creating a DVM with Dynamic Database Interface:

To create a DVM with dynamic database interface, use the "-d dynamic"
option:

$ fglmkrun -o rundyn -d dynamic

Hi,

Thx for the tip.  Version 3.54 installed and runner created but
rtsinstall generates the following error:

/usr/fgl2c/bin/fglrun: error while loading shared libraries:
libdb2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
