RE: problem with fglX11d

Hi,

 

I had also a problem with X11 and SuSe 9.x. They told me that the X11 is not
supported on SuSe 9.x.

So I installed again 8.1. There is works quit fine.

Perhaps we need to ask if Fourj could make a version for SuSe 9.

Hy to everybody,

 

we have a problem in 4js execution time on interface X11. We have installed
4js X11s on client Linux Suse 9 named  (nbook) while the environment 4js is
installed on another server Linux Suse 9 called (Suse).    

 

We have set on client the followings evironment variables:    

TCL_LIBRARY=/usr/local/lib/tcl    

TK_LIBRARY=/usr/local/lib/tk    

PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH    

 

on the server we have setting the followings environment variables:    

DISPLAY=nbook:0    

FGLSERVER=nbook:1 &    

FGLGUI=1    

    

when we execute from the server "suse" the command fglX11d - n 1 &    

we get the following error:     

Application initialization failed: this isn't to Tk applicationcouldn't
connect to display "nbook:0"    

Communication between daemon and interface manager has broken down.   

    

Do you think I am doing something wrong?
