At this time, I can only go off of the way things are configured at-
the-moment on my laptop.  Our company sends out regular, automated
installs that change who-knows-what?  So I cannot say for certain the
way things were configured when I had the problem.

In its current configuration, I am connected to a power supply in my
docking station, not running off battery power.  My power options are
set to never turn off the monitor or hard disks.  System standby and
hibernation are also set to never.  I have not touched these, so unless
an automated install did something, this is the way these options have
been set since I got the laptop.

Currently, it looks like DHCP grabs an 8 day lease.  I take my laptop
home nightly, so it should be getting a fresh 8 days every day I come in.

And what's more, the laptop is in use.  I've just got the 4Js app tucked
away and I'm not using it.  So the laptop is active.  I wouldn't expect
it to start shutting down things.  Since most of my work involves being
logged into Unix via a telnet session, the network card is constantly in
use.  With the company enforced virus software, the hard drives are being
accessed throughout the day as well and should not shut down due to being
idle.

I am currently testing this.  I'm going to let it sit 4 hours and see
if it happens again and then try to narrow it down to a time-frame.
