Hi Pavel, you are right Gas & Gwc are separate products. You will need to have a gas installation for handling gdc in ActiveX/http mode, gjc and web services, and you'll need a gwc installation for running genero web application. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you should use different ports in your two installations. In <INTERFACE_TO_CONNECTOR> (the 6300+94 default value) And in <INTERFACE_TO_DVM> for the port range dedicated to DVMs After this, as far as your installations reside in different directories you will not encounter any problem. We can understand that you would like to manage only one daemon, this need is being studied but there are no short term plan on doing this. The main reason for having two separate products is that these products had not The same speed of evolution. When i install both ow them, it not merges configuration file as.xcf, but even more - configurations are incompatible. now i have installet it in different directories and runs 2 gasd daemons on different ports, but it is not good solution. Have you plans th have all-togather version? I means application server that handles genero desktop client, web client and web services. -- Best regards Pavel Marenyuk
