Installation failure

I ran through the installation script for BDL 3.50.1a on our new IBM 520
running AIX 5.3 and I got an error:

Installing runtime files...
  rtsinstall

fglmkrtm error: Failed to install runtime files.



Earlier in the install script when it presents you with OS and version
levels, it did not list AIX 5.X even though our software vendor assured us
it would be okay.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
