We are pleased to announce availability of a new version
of
Genero, including the following packages:

- FOUR J'S GENERO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LANGUAGE 1.32.1d

- FOUR J'S GENERO DESKTOP CLIENT 1.32.1e

- FOUR J'S GENERO WEB SERVICES EXTENSION 1.32.1d/1e

- FOUR J'S GENERO APPLICATION SERVER 1.32.1c

FEATURES IN 1.32 INCLUDE :

- File Transfer: the ability to transfer files between the
Genero
GDC front end and the application server.

- Enhanced Security: support for user authentication when
login is
required to access HTTP servers; support for communication via HTTPS.

- Support for PostgreSQL V 8

- Enhanced debugger capabilities (conditional
watch points; access
to variable types at runtime)

- Improved compatibility of macros with existing
Genero programs
(change in mechanism to avoid issues with existing “#” comment symbol)

Additionally, this release corrects
issues and
problems found in previous versions.

DEPENDENCIES

It is required to upgrade

- the Genero Desktop Client (a.k.a GDC) to version 1.32.1e,

- the Genero Application Server (a.k.a GAS) to version
1.32.1c,

- the Genero Web Services (a.k.a GWS) to version 1.32.1d/1c.

MIGRATION

If upgrading from any prior version, it is mandatory to
recompile the source code and forms.

The software needs re-licensing every time a major
release version update is applied.

Four J's Genero Desktop Client version
1.32.1e is being released today June, 30th 2005.
