Hi Tarik,

Sounds odd but if it is only happening on one PC, that may help narrow
down the problem.  It's completely a shot in the dark. But you could try
temporarily disabling the firewall to see if the issue goes away.  

From the application server, can you "ping" the IP of the PC??

the application goes up if I unset FGLGUI (FGLGUI=0). 
The main problem is exactly with the application in GUI mode (FGLGUI=1)

About the ports, I checked it and the application uses port 6400 (not
6401 or other). This port is allowed in my firewall, and I haven't had
any problems with this so far.

Do you have any other ideia about this?

I think the problem is in the client machine, but I don't know what it
could be. The other client stations connect normally in the application
without problems.

Does the software come up in character mode if you unset FGLGUI?

Something you could verify is the value set in $FGLSERVER.  This should
be the IP of the client.  Also, check to see which port the "Windows
Front End" is starting on.  It should default to port 6400 BUT, if
something else is already using this port number, the client will
automatically start on a different port number (6401 perhaps?).  Anyhow,
if you find that the Front End is starting on 6401, you need to make
sure $FGLSERVER knows about this (FGLSERVER=$FGLSERVER:1;export
FGLSERVER).

I've searched in Kwoledge Database from 4Js Mailing List, and found many
results about my problem.

I have the problem "ERROR number -6301" / "Can not write [read] to GUI".

Reading the answers in KB, I found many answers about the FGLSERVER
variable, and test it, but the problem still happen.

Is anybody found the answer for this problem???
