RE: how to disable buttons + new problem

Yes there is: 
    define txt_insert char(20)
    fgl_getkeylabel("insert") returning txt_insert . 
 
And you have also fgl_dialog_setkeylabel(...) and fgl_dialog_getkeylable(...) to change the text within a dilaog (obviously!)

i solved but got a new problem !!!
 
instead of               call fgl_setkeylabel("f39"," ") 
     i have to use      call fgl_setkeylabel("insert"," ")   for the insert-key
 
NEW PROBLEM:
   i have to recover the text for this button, but which text 
   should i use ?
   a) i can write it into sourcecode statically
   
         but the best solution is to do this
   b) dynamic by saving the name first, but how can i do this ?
   
    is there a fgl_getkeylabel ???

i'm sorry but the text of the buttons is not cleared !?!?!
 
what about the entry in my FGLPROFILE ?
 InputArray.defKeys   = "accept,interrupt,insert,delete"
 
do you also have the same entry ?

Call fgl_setkeylabel("f39", "") to clear the text.
Check your FGLPROFILE and make sure you have
gui.empty.button.visible    = false
 
That should do it

    the f-keys are redirected, but 
    there are already the buttons with their function !

Hi:
    In your input try this to "disable" the insert key:
 
    call fgl_setkeylabel("f39", "")
    input (...)
        before row
           if (condition) then
              options insert key f39
           else
              options insert key (normal key)
   (...)
 
    Actually your doing nothing but to redirect the insert key to an unmapped one, but maybe it could solve your problem.
Same thing to the delete key. It works for me...

I have following problem:
 
in my fglprofile i defined   
    InputArray.defKeys   = "accept,interrupt,insert,delete"
 
but sometimes i need to hide/disable the insert-/delete-button
in the right frame of an dialog.
 
Perhaps someone as a hint for me how to solve this?
