Front-end lost

Hello

One of our customers is running applications on an AIX 4.3 server using
a wtk client for the front-end (FourJs version 3.50.1a)
Since about two months, they're experiencing a strange phenomenon: The
applications on the screen freeze, but the processes on the server keep
running. The user can subsequently start the applications again.
This causes two problems:
- More licenses are consumed than there are active users
- Old processes keep piling up on the server

Has anyone experienced something like this before?
