I only got to compile with gcc 3. 3. 1(mingw32: -) with "--disable-shared " :-)

for who is having problems to compile Adasockets1.7 with mingw32 e 
gcc-3.3.1, try to increase "--disable-shared " to the ./configure

    ./configure --prefix=prefix  --disable-shared

   and soon after:-)

     make install

  for me it worked.^_^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Athlon XP 1.7
   mingw-3.0.0-rc4.exe
   gcc-3.3.1 (full)
   binutil-2.14.90
   msys-1.0.9
