Hi! When I look under the directory: contrib/win32 I find 3 bat files. When I look in the src directory I find files called *.*.win32 and *.in and so on. I have the impression that I either should run the "configure" and "make install" in Linux (which I dont have at the moment) or install Cygnus on a Windows machine to make the "configure/make install" utilities available. Is this correctly understood? If I install Cygnus on a Windows98 (which is the one I have easily connected to internet) and run the process to create Win32 files there, will I then succeed when copying these files to a Windows XP machine, to compile them there?
