Hi, again, Pascal: Also, I just noticed that this was posted in the C400-L list -- but this topic should really be posted in the RPG400-L list, since you are trying to do this using ILE RPG IV ... you might get more people over there who have used some of these APIs, who can respond with better answers ... By the way, since you are using ILE RPG IV, why not just use regular ILE RPG IV I/O statements, rather than using the C _Rxxx APIs? =-O All the best, Mark S.
