New to java and getting error "digest missing"

I am attempting to run a java program that I wrote and compiled I am trying to run the java program and I get an error about Digest Missing Exception in thread "main" com.gnostice.pdfone.PdfException: digest missing for org/bouncycastle/jce/provider/BouncyCastleProvider.class I am at a loss what "digest missing" means and I cannot find any reference to it using google Anybody have any ideas what this means?
