Look at your security system values.
WRKSYSVAL *SEC
Position to QSSL

There are three values to look at:
QSSLPCL list the support protocols, TLS1.2 ...
QSSLCSLCTL if *OPSYS then the other value does not matter.
If *USRDFN then look at QSSLCSL for a list of cipher suites support and the order they are supported in.

As to see what is being negotiated with a third party, use wire shark.  I do not know how to capture the info any other way.  If you have permission you can use a third party SSL test and certificate checker such as SSL Labs by Qualys.

hi, is there an easy way to verify what tls versions i am running on my iseries and would it be possible that a biz partner we transmit back and forth would be using one of the disabled versions…Is there anyway to tell what the business partner is using?
