Java performance qshell javac

First off I do not have much java experience for forgive me if I say/ask
something stupid.

 

I have a java program (class file) that performs AES 256 encryption

 

On one partition running 7.3 it runs in 15 seconds (wish it was faster)

On partition 2 running 7.3 it runs in 80 seconds (not acceptable)

 

Trying to track down the differences between the two partitions but I can't
find anything (based on my limited knowledge of java with IBM i)

Disk usage on both are 78-80%
CPU % are both less than 5%

Memory is the same

 

 

 

Any suggestions on what I can change that might make a difference?
