I just wanted to share this with other people that might be hosting apps on Windows Server 2019 or newer. There was a performance issue experienced in Windows Server 2019 that stemmed from the Nagle Algorithm dictating how network packets were sent to the IBM System i Server. This is documented here: https://sourceforge.net/p/jt400/bugs/454/ With the release of JTOpen version 11.0, "tcp no delay" has been added as a JDBC connection property, which should fix the performance issue when toggled appropriately. We noticed the issue with Websphere (WAS) on Windows Server 2019 and our System i Server running on V7R4. ------------ Jacob ------------ -- This is the Java Programming on and around the IBM i (JAVA400-L) mailing list To post a message email: [email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: https://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/java400-l or email: JAVA400-L-request-+hD5IHI5Xscn3HwCXmMcX9BPR1lH4CV8@public.gmane.org Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at https://archive.midrange.com/java400-l.
