Well the word "natively" to me means a function of the language itself. Your definition is not what I had in mind (obviously). Let me repeat: in ANY language you can natively and directly do ANYTHING without ANY built-ins, libraries, functions, whatnots. You can do date durations, bit manipulation, list processing, recursive calls, stacks, heaps, whatever.
